Budgets for Haripur and Swat universities

Caretaker Minister for Law and Higher Education,
Justice (R) Irshad Qaiser, chaired two separate senate meetings on Monday to
examine and approve the annual budgets for the University of Haripur and the
University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Swat.
Both meetings were attended by members of the
respective universities' Senate.
The Senate meeting unanimously endorsed the
annual budget for the University of Haripur for the year 2023-24.
Justice (R) Irshad Qaiser, Provincial Minister
of Higher Education, commended the university's surplus budget and performance.
He stressed the importance of the university generating more revenue to ensure
financial stability.
During the meeting, it was reported that future
plans include establishing additional departments at the university.
Additionally, the Senate convened for the
University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Swat, with participation from
Senate members.
After a comprehensive evaluation, the budget for
the fiscal year 2023-24 received approval.
Justice (R) Irshad Qaiser, the caretaker
provincial minister, urged further enhancements in administrative and
educational standards during the meeting.
