Prime Minister grants Rs1 million reward to top SSC Student
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has announced a
reward of Rs1 million for the student who secured the top position in the
Secondary School Examination of Gujranwala Board. Additionally, the Prime
Minister directed the government to provide a monthly stipend of Rs30,000 to
the student.
The announcement came as Jamshed Ali, the SSC
topper, met the Prime Minister accompanied by his mother, teacher Waheed
Ashraf, and Chairman of the Gujranwala Board of Intermediate and Secondary
Education, Naveed Haider Sherazi. Minister for Federal Education and Training,
Rana Tanveer Hussain, was also present at the meeting.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif commended the
student for his outstanding performance and awarded him a reward of Rs1 million
to encourage his achievements.
Furthermore, the Prime Minister instructed that
the government would cover all educational expenses for Jamshed Ali up to his
master's degree. He urged the student to continue displaying excellence in his
educational journey ahead.
"The brilliant students like you are a
source of pride for the nation. Your success is a result of your parents' hard
work and the dedication of your teachers. You serve as a role model for other
students in the country," the Prime Minister expressed.
