Joint education conference of Pak, China to be held next month

According to a report by China Economic Net, the Pakistan Theme Day and China-Pakistan Education Cooperation Promotion Conference are expected to take place next month under the auspices of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO).

The 2023 'SCO Summer' series of activities is currently ongoing and will continue until September 23, featuring nearly 50 special events, including the SCO Media Think Tank Forum, cultural and artistic performances, product promotions, sports, and leisure activities.

Haseeb Gohar, the Pakistani Political Counsellor to China, expressed that the '2023 SCO Summer' event will further enhance cultural and tourism ties between Pakistan and other SCO member states.

The SCO countries have significant potential for cultural exchanges and mutually beneficial cooperation in the tourism sector.

Recently, the launch ceremony of the 2023 'SCO Summer' China-SCO Culture and Tourism Promotion Week took place at the Qingdao Pearl International Expo Centre.

Zhang Xinzhu, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Qingdao Municipal Committee and Secretary of the Party Working Committee of SCO Demonstration Area (SCODA), stated that the 2023 'SCO Summer' series aims to strengthen people-to-people integration, deepen mutual trust and cooperation, and foster business, tourism, and cultural exchanges among SCO nations.

Grigory Logvinov, Deputy Secretary General of SCO, highlighted the organization as a dynamic international entity with diverse civilizations, noting that cultural exchanges and cooperation among SCO countries have grown closer.

The SCO countries will utilize this event to enhance cooperation and understanding in tourism interaction and cultural heritage protection, elevating cultural and people-to-people exchanges within the SCO family to a new level.
