Allama Iqbal Open University hosts international roundtable in collaboration with Russian University

Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) organized a highly anticipated international roundtable conference in partnership with Ural State Pedagogical University (USPU). The conference, held in Islamabad, served as a platform for scholars and researchers from both countries to exchange ideas and promote academic cooperation.

The conference, titled "Advancing Education and Research: Exploring Opportunities for Collaboration," aimed to foster intellectual discourse and explore potential avenues for collaboration in the fields of education and research. Distinguished scholars, experts, and professionals from AIOU and the Ural State Pedagogical University (USPU)
 participated in the event, contributing their insights and experiences.

The conference featured various sessions, including panel discussions, research paper presentations, and interactive workshops. Participants engaged in productive discussions on a wide range of topics, such as innovative teaching methodologies, curriculum development, educational technology, and joint research initiatives. The exchange of ideas and perspectives between the scholars from Pakistan and Russia enriched the intellectual landscape and opened doors for future collaborations.

During the conference, officials from AIOU and the Russian university signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to formalize their partnership and enhance cooperation in academic and research activities. The MoU outlines areas of mutual interest, including faculty exchange programs, joint research projects, and the sharing of educational resources and best practices.

Professor Dr. Zia Ul-Qayyum, Vice-Chancellor of AIOU, expressed his gratitude to the Russian university for their participation and emphasized the significance of international collaborations in advancing education and research. He stated, "Such initiatives promote cultural understanding, academic excellence, and the exchange of knowledge, ultimately contributing to the overall development of our societies."
