Education Voucher Scheme launched in nine districts
of Punjab
The Punjab Education Foundation has introduced the Education
Voucher Scheme (EVS) phase-17, titled the 'Shehr-e-Ilm project', across nine districts within the province, including Faisalabad district.
This initiative aims to provide education to approximately 84,000
out-of-school children through PEF schools as part of the project.
Local authorities revealed on Friday that the scheme has been
initiated in various districts, namely Bahawalpur, Gujranwala, Lahore, Rahim Yar Khan, Multan, Muzaffargarh, Rawalpindi, and Sheikhupura.
Private school proprietors from 19 selected union councils in Faisalabad have the opportunity to submit their online applications for the scheme until the deadline on August 12th. Subsequently, a hard copy of the digitally signed application, along with necessary attested documents, must be sent to the Director of the Education Voucher Scheme at 52-L, Gulberg-III, near Kalma Chowk, Lahore, by August 16th.
