Hungary announces scholarships for Pakistani students
Central European country Hungary has announced to award scholarships
to talented Pakistani students for 2023-24 in collaboration with Higher
Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan.
The scholarship program aims to provide opportunities to
eligible candidates to get bachelor’s, master’s, and doctorate degrees at the prominent
universities in Hungary.
Applicants are to apply through Stipendium
Hungaricum and the Higher Education Commission portals.
Who is eligible for Stipendium
Hungaricum
Applicants need to submit certificates/transcripts/degrees
attested by relevant authorities such as HEC and IBCC during registration. They
will also need IELTS/TOEFL scores to apply.
Studying in Hungary also requires provision of a medical
certificate to ensure that the applicant is not carrying any contagious
disease.
For Bachelor’s programs, the applicant must be aged between
18-22 years and possess HSSC/intermediate or equivalent of bachelor’s and
one-tier master’s degrees. For Master’s program, the applicant must have 16
years of education.
For Doctorate degree, the age of applicants should not exceed 40
years and have 18 years of education.
Last date to apply
16 January 2023 is the deadline for Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship.
