Syria and Pakistan to increase cooperation
in education and scientific expertise
Syrian Prime Minister Hussein Arnous and Pakistan Minister of
Education, Rana Tanveer Hussain on Tuesday, during their meeting in Sana, Syria
discussed cooperation in the field of education and scientific expertise.
Rana Tanveer Hussain met PM Hussein along with his delegation.
Both officials discussed exchanging curriculum development and scientific expertise.
The officials also discussed ways to boost cooperation in the
areas of technical and vocational education and to increase scholarships
provided by the Pakistani side.
Premier Arnous emphasized that the Syrian state is fully
committed to the education sector and has ensured the progression of the
learning system, rehabilitation of terrorism-damaged infrastructure, and return
of school dropouts.
Both sides also discussed boosting cooperation in the fields of
human development, culture, and economy, along with exchanging expertise in the
agricultural area to serve the interests of the two friendly countries and
peoples.
Pakistani
Minister emphasized on Pakistan’s readiness to enhance cooperation with Syria
in the educational and technical fields and to provide support to the Syrian
Ministry of Education.
He also assured to share experiences in a variety of
specializations that benefit both parties.
