University Bahawalpur to establish a center for training in special education

University Bahawalpur will soon establish a center of assistance to train teachers of special education.
This
was stated by Dr. Athar Mahboob, Vice Chancellor Islamia University, Bahawalpur while speaking at a conference on research in special
education
at the university.
He said new laboratories and other facilities are being
provided in the department of special education so that teaching and research
can be carried out efficiently. For this purpose, cooperation and collaboration
with other institutions is also being sought.
The
Vice-Chancellor further said that soon MPhil and PhD programs will be started
in this department.
The
guests of honor including Dr. Zeeshan Akhtar, Raheel Ahmed Bhatti and Prof. Dr.
Abdul Hameed expressed their support and cooperation for the Department of
Special Education on behalf of their institutions.
