HEC offers GRE training under US-Pak Knowledge Corridor

The Higher Education Commission of Pakistan has launched GRE (General) Training for prospective students and non-Ph.D faculty members aspiring for a PH.D scholarship under US-Pak Knowledge Corridor program.

 

Who is eligible?

 

a.   Pakistani/AJK nationals

b.   Minimum 4 years bachelor degree

c.    First division in entire academic career

d.   Maximum age on the closing date should not exceed:

i.             38 years in case of regular government employees/regular faculty members of public sector universities and government colleges/regular researchers of registered R & D organizations.

ii.            33 years in all other cases

e.   Must not be availing any other HEC scholarship

f.     Those who have previously availed this facility are not eligible

 

Fee:

A concessionary fee of Rs. 2500/- will be charged from participants in case of online training and Rs. 5,000/- in case of physical learning. The remaining amount of training fee will be paid by HEC.

 

Application procedure:

a.   Applications can be submitted via Google Forms until December 10, 2022

b.   No fee is required to be deposited at this stage. Details regarding fee deposit will be shared with shortlisted candidats.
